Our process is different… it’s streamlined and it works!
In a given year the Huntsville Hospital Health System uses thousands and thousands of products, services, and technologies. The Purchasing team facilitates and coordinates major product and service changes along with key clinical team members through its multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best in patient outcomes through clinical efficacy of the products and services for the greatest financial savings and overall value.
Anyone requesting a new product that is not currently being used must submit a completed and signed Product Request Form for evaluation and consideration. If you wish to trial a product the same process applies. Purchasing will also assist in coordination of trials and in-service.
